Stretch Goal Ahead On...

For the home stretch of our campaign, we’re unleashing another slew of awesome stretch goals for riffs both big and small:
5,500 Backers: HUGE Multi-Riffer Tandem Just-the-Jokes Riff of a Blockbuster that YOU will help decide!
Our most common requests are for riffs of Hollywood’s biggest blockbusters. The last few years, though, there have been blockbusters so big, that Mike, Kevin, and Bill alone won’t be enough to handle them. We’re excited to announce that seasoned riffers Bridget and Mary Jo, Janet Varney and Cole Stratton, and Matthew Elliott and Ian Potter, will be joining us for this riff.
But what exactly will this Avengers-caliber super riffing team be riffing? That’s where YOU come in!
Once we hit this goal, we’ll release a poll to our backers where you’ll get to vote on which of the following blockbusters the gang will riff:
- Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice - Captain America: Civil War - Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
- Avengers: Age of Ultron
If that’s not enough, ALL backers at every level will get this riff for FREE! AND it’ll sync with the movie automatically with the help of the snazzy RiffTrax App.
6,250 Backers: MOTHRA Just the Jokes Riff!
Bug out to this Kaiju-sized riff from the comfort of your couch! Missed RiffTrax Live: Mothra last year? Well this year, you can catch the moth from your RiffTrax Library. If we hit this goal, Mike, Kevin, and Bill will record the script from last year’s live show, and all backers will receive the MP3 riff FREE!
7,000 Backers: Samurai Cop Live show Blu-ray!
Witness all the wig-adorned action in beautiful High Definition! If we reach this goal, we will also produce a Blu-ray of the Samurai Cop live event, and backers at the $100 and above level will have the option to choose between a Blu-ray or DVD.
8,000 Backers: Just-the-Jokes Westworld Riff!
We journeyed to the land of Westeros when we riffed Game of Thrones last year, and we’re hoping to bring the funny to the first episode of HBO’s hedonistic dominion in Westworld! Mike, Kevin, and Bill will quip all over the robo-action, robo-adventure, and robo-romance for every Kickstarter backer! That’s right - all backers at every reward level will get this riff FREE, and it will work with our auto-syncing App!
9,000 Backers:Star Wars - The Last Jedi Riff
The Force can be with YOU if we get to 9,000 backers and riff the latest installment of this very popular media franchise.
If it actually is the last Jedi, then this might be your last chance to hear us riff a Star Wars film! And, just like all the other Just the Jokes Stretch Goals - every backer at every reward level will get this riff for FREE! NOTE: Estimated delivery for this one is May 2018.
10,000 Backers: It’s a Wonderful Life Riff!
“Oh, Clarence - I want to riff again!”
Perhaps our most requested holiday riff of all time - even more so than our old pal the Ice Cream Bunny. Help us bring the funny to this classic, and we’ll help our backers by bringing this riff to all 10,000 of yourRiff Libraries.
Since these are all backer-based goals, we really need your help to make them happen. It's all about spreading the word! Got a friend or family member who loves comedy? Be sure they know that forjust $1 they can score ten hilarious shorts, as well as up to FIVE blockbuster riffs. We’ve double-checked the math, and can say with confidence that this is an amazing deal worth sharing.
Kickstarter Live!
Today at 11:00AM PDT, Kevin will be jumping on our very first Kickstarter Live! He’ll be answering questions you may have about RiffTrax, this year’s live shows, or whatever else fits your fancy. We’ll also be spinning the RiffTrax Prize Wheel and giving away free swag - so hang out, have some laughs, and win some super cool RiffTrax goodies while you’re at it.
If that’s not enough, we’ll be hosting another Kickstarter Live during the last half hour of the campaign on Saturday, March 25th, at 5:30PM PDT. Join us as we count down the final minutes of this campaign.

We’re happy to announce that Rich Kyanka (aka Lowtax) will be producing a video for RiffTrax Live 2017. Fans may remember him from our riff of the classic Troll 2, and we couldn’t be happier to be adding his hilarious perspective to RiffTrax Live. More news to follow!

You loved our riff of the first episode of Game of Thrones so much, that we’re looking to make the most spoiler-filled episode truly spoiler-RIFF-ic! We're funded!
Thanks to all of you awesome people, we’ve hit our goal, which means you’ll be getting three AMAZING RiffTrax Live shows in 2017! In fact, you can already grab tickets for Samurai Cop Live. This is a show you won’t want to miss. We’ve already said it, but it bears repeating: thank you so much for your generosity! We truly can’t pull off this craziness without you.
Now that we’ve hit our funding goal, we’ve got some fun new stuff to go over:
About our Super Secret Mystery Show...
We’re so excited about our Mystery Show, and we know you will be too. This is a super fun, super cool property, but as so happens with super fun, super cool things, those kooky folks called “lawyers” love to get involved. Never you fear, the Super Secret Mystery Show is 100% definitely happening, but those lawyers informed us recently that we can't reveal the Mystery Show Title until after the Kickstarter campaign is over. The title is officially Too Hot For Kickstarter!(NOTE: Not the actual title.)
So this means your anticipation will have to build for just a little while longer! We promise you that this will be one of our biggest riffs ever, and you will be among the first to know exactly what it is once we're able to reveal it. We really appreciate your patience and understanding, and can assure you it WILL be worth the wait.

In our previous update, we noticed that the audio for the Samurai Cop trailer was incomplete. Which is strange, since audio plays such a crucial role in what we do!
