In our last two updates, we announced that The Mads and Paul F. Tompkins will be joining our summer beach party. We're working on more guests as well as our plans for stretch rewards once we've hit our funding goal; to help us get there, we've added some awesome new rewards for your perusal!
$1: Spreading the Word!
Many have asked, and we're happy to deliver! The real magic of the Kickstarter community is you, the backers and fans that help drive this whole thing. In order to achieve world domination, we need all the backers we can get, and so for that reason we've brought back the $1 reward level! Perfect for those who just want to say, "OHAI, RiffTrax!" and show their support without breaking the bank.
Tell all your friends who haven't donated to this campaign that even one tiny greenback will get them tons of great content AND will unlock the EXCLUSIVE Kickstarter 2017 badge! Backers of every level will get this year's badge once the campaign has ended, and the rewards have been connected to your account on the site.
Just as we did last year, we plan on offering a whole mess of fun stuff for a $1 donation, such as bonus shorts, free stretch rewards, advance ticketing opportunities, and more! $625: Script review with Bill Corbett!
Before he was a riffmaster, Bill Corbett was a successful playwright, screenwriter, and writing teacher. If you'd like Bill's detailed feedback on your screenplay, stage play, or teleplay, this is the reward for you!
Bill will read and analyze your script, and then do a one-hour private phone consultation with you at a mutually convenient time. Please note: limited to scripts, not novels etc.; maximum 120 pages, but will consider slightly raising that if approved in advance. Also does not promise any kind of future help with the script, limited to this one hour only. But it will be a good, helpful, fun hour! Bill is surprisingly friendly in real life. Only two of these rewards are available!
$800: Write a Riff: Summer Shorts Beach Party
Everything in the $250 rewards package PLUS you will get to write a riff for the SUMMER SHORTS BEACH PARTY in June. We'll give you the scene and space for the joke, and you get to write your own comedy gold which will be performed by Mike, Kevin or Bill during the Live Show. You will even get a "Kickstarter Guest Writer" credit in the end credits of the show, and you will be mentored by the RiffTrax writers to make sure all goes smoothly. (Riff must be approved by RiffTrax.)
$1,775: Mystery Show VIP Package
Want all the exclusivity and lavish pampering of VIP packages, but with an added dollop of mystery? Then holy moly have we got the reward for you! Journey to Nashville for an exclusive meet-and-greet with Mike, Kevin and Bill, and score the best seats in the house for our live riffing of our SUPER SECRET MYSTERY SHOW!
